Strength Training

Strength training is a broad term used to describe an exercise which uses some form of resistance in order to induce contraction and build strength in skeletal muscle. Strength training will also improve anaerobic endurance, increase metabolism, increase bone density and manage weight.

WEIght loss

Body composition is the proportion of fat and fat free mass in our bodies. A healthy body composition is one in which the percentage of body fat is lower than the percentage of fat free mass (muscle, bones & organs). Reducing body fat will improve your body composition and your overall health as there is less strain on your body & internal organs.

Hypertrophy

Muscle hypertrophy is a term which refers to the growth & increase in size of the muscle cells, i.e greater muscle mass. Hypertrophy training will increase protein synthesis & continue burning calories even after your training session has ended

The GyM

A completely PRIVATE space to train

The first lock-down forced many changes upon us. When the gym I worked at closed, and my income went to zero, I decided to turn the situation into a positive and began planning how to build my own gym. Now I’ve created a 7x7m private sanctuary to train in and you’ll LOVE it.
As lock down restrictions eased and people started to gain some freedom again, I began conducting training session in my garden whilst the gym was still shut. I was overwhelmed with how much people preferred training in a private setting rather than a public gym. This sparked the idea of building my own gym in the garden to continue training people in an environment they preferred. What initially started as a 2x3m wooden shed soon developed into something much bigger. Before i knew it, I had enrolled the help of both an architect, and a structural engineer, and was well on my way to designing something magnificent.

Despite several setbacks, plans for the ‘Bear Cave’ were passed and a builder was appointed. As work began, the excitement grew with every brick that got laid. Now its finished, this private space has everything you need to push yourself harder than you’ve ever pushed before. Have complete peace of mind knowing you’re using professional grade equipment; and the best bit is, it’s completely PRIVATE. Unless you bring a friend, absolutely no other person will be present during your session other than you! If there’s a better way to work out there, then id like to see it.

Although toilets are available, there’s unfortunately no changing facilities provided, meaning you will need to attend each session in appropriate gym gear to conduct your workout. The gym is only used for private training sessions so you will be the only person present during your workout. Please feel free to reach out and message me if you require any further information on the gym or its equipment.
